Pitched my proposal to JT and PBJ, who seemed to be quite positive about the idea. General feedback points:

• Be mindful that the ‘handbook’ doesn’t become a toolbox.
• Define the issues through a critical review of current pedagogical texts before writing the ‘handbook’. Be specific.
• JT is of the view that many pedagogical texts are substandard, recommendation to look at general education texts first before tackling architectural texts.
• PBJ mentioned that criticism of the system may be refreshing.  JT recommends looking at PBJ’s history of Sheffield School of Architecture centenary to see past precedent of the school ethos.
• Further reference JT & TS text that first defines the issue before proposing an alternative.
• Most importantly, DEFINE AN ETHOS.
